The committees are the body of every successful organization. To be able to do our role as a Problem Solving, and competitive programming enthusiasts, every committee is given specific tasks to fulfill the community’s mission, vision and goals. Our committees are: HR Committee Media Committee Technical Committee PR Committee Training Committee
The Technical Committee is basically the heart of the chapter, they're in charge of the trainings, preparation of the contests throughout the year, whether face-to-face or online.
They prepare the training content, slides, sheets and whatsoever.
They also work on constantly enhancing their technical skills such as being a Technica support member during training sessions, and non-technical skills, as the ability to instruct others and explain different topics to those who need it, so they can be fit for the instructor role.
Also a booth wouldn't be complete without techincal members, they prepare games and puzzles for booth, which helps others understand what we are doing, and what ICPC Mansoura Chapter is about.
When contests or summit conferences are held, they tend to prepare problem set for the contestants.
The Human Resources Committee is in charge of handling any people-related concerns and needs that arise within an organization. They often manage recruiting, hiring and firing, as well as onboarding new hires and managing the orientation process to get employees set up in their new roles.
When problems arise between members, human resources may become involved to assist in the resolution process.
They must also maintain detailed employee records and give reports to the Chapter President
They are also in charge of managing relations between members, overseeing training programs, and supporting members’ development
The Public Relations committee is in charge of handling all aspects of planned publicity campaigns, and all partnerships and sponsorships.
When there is an interactive event, a PR should be the one to deal with the mentors and speakers of this event.
And most importantly, if the Chapter needs permission to use any halls of the university, they should contact whoever is in charge, so they work on establishing the relation between the team and the university.
When it comes to financial matters.
The PR Committee is also in charge of the financial matters of the chapters, they also annually prepare a report of the Chapter's financial matters.
Digital marketing specialists, Graphic Designers, Content Creators and Video Editors, these circles are what builds up the Media Committee.
The Media Committee's main role is to promote the brand, which is the ICPC Mansoura Chapter, and help build a bigger community every year, to achieve so, it participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging the community's work, providing regular reports to the audience, and regularly sharing the progress of the community.
It aims to give students the opportunity to enhance their Technical skills, and get involved with the community voluntarily, by showing them what is exactly happening inside the Chapter through the year.
It is also in charge of tracking members' progress during contests.
The training committee is in charge of handling the organizing and decorations of the face-to-face events and contests.
When training starts, they have to supervise the training by keeping discipline at the hall, they also have to make sure that the chosen instructor is fit for the session.
