    • Our Story

    We started in 2015, when a group of students decided to build a community interested in problem solving, it started at Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, which later on spread in other faculties such as Computer Information Science, and Faculty of Science. We started as ACM Mansoura Students Chapter, but later in 2019 we changed our name to ICPC Mansoura Chapter, representing the ICPC at Mansoura University

  • Providing trainings to not only college students of all levels, but anyone who's interested in Problem Solving and Competitive Programming so they're able to get on track and be able to participate in the Local Contests, ECPC, ACPC all way to ICPC

    • Vision

  • To build a competitive programming community that has the ability to identify a problem, take logical steps to critical thinking and decision-making to devise the desired solution

    • Goals

  • To help students who are interested in problems solving achieve and advanced level in this track, by showing them the beginning of the road, which makes them able to continue studying on the long-term

    ECPC, ACPC and ICPC

    2018: (The golden year for ICPC Mansoura Chapter): 5 teams from Mansoura qualified to ECPC 2 teams qualified to ACPC ICPC world finals were held in April and Hawksbeard represented Mansoura University in Portugal with and honorable mention in the competition

    -2020 IEEExtreme 14.0 : our team SherbiniIsBluffing 1st on Egypt, 8th worldwide

    In 2021: For the first time Mansoura participated as an official hub, competing with 490 hubs worldwide, achieving 4th place in Egypt and 214th place worldwide

    2017: 12 teams from Mansoura qualified to ECPC Two teams from Mansoura university qualified to ACPC In ACPC 2017 2 teams, inglorious masters and Les Misérables, achieved 23rd place and 68th place respectively

    Our Main Activity

    We start by training all those interested in PS, each instructor prepares their slides and the problems that should be solved during the session, the trainees later on, are given a sheet to solve and submit before the next session, this way we hope to build a competitive programming community by using a long-term problem-solving training, which has already involved more than 1000 students so far.
